We are excited to announce the listing of Polkadot (DOT). LCX is adding support for DOT Token at LCX Exchange starting today. Deposits are now open. Trading will start from Friday, 10th September 2021 with two trading pairs DOT / LCX and DOT/ EUR.

Launch LCX ExchangeDOT token is the native cryptocurrency of the Polkadot Network. DOT token is the network token of the Polkadot network and serves three important functions i.e governance, staking and bonding. The initial role of DOT is to provide holders complete control over the platform’s governance. The network’s fees, the auction dynamics and schedule for adding parachains, and extraordinary events like updates and fixes to the Polkadot platform are all part of this governance function. The Polkadot network involves staking where participants are rewarded for staking their DOT and risking their holdings for network validation.

Deposits:
Starting from today, 8th September 2021, customers will be able to transfer $DOT into their LCX account. Customers will be able to transfer this to their LCX Exchange wallet or place trading orders when the trading starts.
Trading Pairs:
- DOT / LCX starting on Friday, 10th September 2021 at 6 PM CET.
- DOT / EUR starting on Friday, 10th September 2021 at 6 PM CET.
How to deposit Polkadot (DOT)?
- Go to LCX Accounts > Wallet
- Scroll down to $DOT
- Click on the “Deposit” tab next to $DOT. Your deposit address will be displayed on the screen.
- Send $DOT to this address.
