Dubai TOKEN2049, the world’s leading crypto event, broke records this past week with over 15,000 participants from more than 160 countries—once again demonstrating why the city is emerging as a global crypto capital.
Over 200 speakers from blockchain and traditional finance took to the stage to share their insights on the hot topics shaping our industry. Guest highlights included Changpeng Zhao, Eric Trump, Raoul Pal, Paolo Ardoino, and Jeremy Allaire.
Beyond the panels, TOKEN2049 featured over 500 side events, spread out across the city. From ziplines through the sky, to rock wall climbing, and ice bath plunges, attendees were treated to a fully immersive experience.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
This year’s event was packed with big moments.
Eric Trump didn’t hold back during his keynote, calling the traditional financial system ‘broken’ and championing crypto as a path to global economic transformation. Meanwhile, Arthur Hayes predicted Bitcoin could soar to $1 million by 2028 and urged investors to go ‘all in’.
Apple Pay was in attendance and announced stablecoin support via Mesh, paving the way for retail adoption. CZ also made his first public address since stepping down as Binance CEO, sharing his thoughts on industry regulations and AI developments.

THE TOKENIZATION RECEPTION
LCX was proud to host The Tokenization Reception, an invite-only dinner held at one of Dubai’s most prestigious venues, overlooking the iconic Burj Al Arab. This sold-out event brought together CEOs, founders, and investors, including partners like SwissFortress.
