Monty Metzger to Deliver Keynote on “Tokenization: Capital for Humanity” at Wyoming Global Technology Summit

LCX Founder and CEO Monty C. M. Metzger will deliver a keynote at the 13th Annual Wyoming Global Technology Summit in Jackson Hole on September 10, where he will offer the first public keynote preview of his forthcoming book, Tokenization: Capital for Humanity. How Digital Ownership Unlocks the Wealth of the World.
His address, “Tokenization: How Digital Ownership Unlocks the Wealth of the World,” will examine how blockchain is evolving from an infrastructure for digital money into a broader system for digital ownership, spanning financial assets, securities and real world assets.
“The next digital revolution is not the digitization of money. It is the digitization of ownership,” Metzger writes in the book.
The Architecture of Tokenization
One of the frameworks Metzger will introduce in Jackson Hole is the Tokenization Pyramid, which illustrates the layers required to transform an underlying asset into a functioning digital market: Asset, Law, Token, Utility and Liquidity.
The central idea is simple. Creating a token is only one part of tokenization. The larger opportunity lies in connecting assets with blockchain infrastructure, applications, markets and liquidity so that ownership itself becomes digital and programmable.
Metzger argues that this transition could ultimately extend far beyond today’s digital asset industry.
As he writes in Tokenization: Capital for Humanity, “The world does not lack wealth. It lacks usable ownership.”
The potential market for tokenization is therefore not limited to cryptocurrencies or securities. It extends to the vast universe of financial and real world assets that can be owned, financed, transferred or exchanged. In this sense, tokenization is less about creating a new asset class than building a new digital infrastructure for ownership across the global economy.
Building the Infrastructure for the Ownership Age
