LCX CEO and Founder, Monty Metzger, attended the European Blockchain Convention 2022 in Barcelona, Spain. Approximately 1500+ attendees were there, and the event was conducted for 3 days. Startups, investors, corporates, and developers attended this event, and there was a lot to learn and new things to know from them.
Everyone is trying to bring something creative to the space, and talking to them was an educational ride for us. Monty Metzger was both a sponsor and a speaker at EBC 2022.He shared his opinions, knowledge, and facts about the WEB 3, Stablecoins, Stability, and CBDCs.
It is always wonderful to be a part of such events as you get to know a plethora of new things and information, as well as meet new people with different ideologies, which is a wonderful experience in itself.
The event featured 100+ speakers across a variety of panels, keynotes, workshops, and fire-side chats on the current state of blockchain, crypto, DeFi, NFTs, and Web 3. It was an incredible blockchain & crypto event in Europe and LCX was happy to be a part of it.
There is a famous quote, “Knowledge is power.” Sharing knowledge is the key to unlocking that power. ” Thus, Monty Metgzer attended the event to spread his knowledge and experience among the youth and beginners who are just entering the space and looking for some in-depth information to build their confidence.
It feels great to skip virtual meetings for a moment and get to know people personally. Hence, the 3-day event was a thrilling experience, and Monty Metzger not only shared his knowledge but also enjoyed the knowledge that had been shared by other panelists.

Monty Metzger was a moderator in the EBC22 | Stablecoins, Stability and CBDCs, where he asked some very interesting questions with the speakers like what’s important about Central bank digital currency? Stablecoins unstable situation that we are facing, what’s the initiative of CBDC here?
Monty Metzger even shared a fact regarding the stablecoin market: it is a 154 billion dollar market as of today.
During the WEB 3 session in EBC Monty Metzger, CEO & Founder at LCX, said that “Everything that can be tokenized will be tokenized, Web3 is enabling this next growth wave of the crypto industry.” and explained how WEB 2 failed in some areas and gave rise to WEB 3.
These sorts of interesting panel discussions are so intriguing that everyone wants to attend EBC and wishes to learn more from the speakers and their experiences.
