Kraken Supports LCX Token Upgrade

Kraken has confirmed support for the LCX token upgrade, enabling a smooth migration from the legacy LCX token to the upgraded version.

As part of this process, Kraken will handle the migration automatically for users holding LCX on the exchange. This means users do not need to take any action if their LCX tokens are stored on Kraken.

What Kraken Users Should Know

Kraken will manage the token migration internally to ensure a seamless transition to the upgraded LCX token.

• LCX balances on Kraken will be automatically migrated to the new token.

• No manual swap is required for users holding LCX on Kraken.

Users who hold LCX on Kraken simply need to keep their tokens on the exchange during the migration process.

Timeline

• April 3rd, 2pm UTC: Funding (deposits/withdrawals) and trading paused for LCX
• April 6th – April 10th, 11:59pm UTC: Migration will be performed during this time. Upon completion, funding and trading of LCX will be restored.
